Abstract:
A concentration system comprising: a reverse osmosis module that separates and collects water via a reverse osmosis membrane from a stock solution pressurized to a prescribed pressure and discharges a concentrated stock solution, which is the stock solution that has been concentrated; a cleaning device for removing hard components and/or suspended matter components from the concentrated stock solution and discharging the same as a first liquid under treatment; and a semipermeable membrane module that comprises a semipermeable membrane and a first chamber and second chamber that are partitioned by the semipermeable membrane, flushes the first liquid under treatment at a prescribed pressure into the first chamber and flushes a second liquid under treatment at a pressure lower than the prescribed pressure into the second chamber to transfer water contained in the first liquid under treatment inside the first chamber via the semipermeable membrane into the second liquid under treatment inside the second chamber, and discharges the concentrated liquid from the first chamber and discharges the diluted liquid from the second chamber.
