Abstract:
A composition for conditioning keratin fibres, especially hair, comprises an aqueous phase i) at least one specific cationic surfactant, ii) at least one cationic polymer with a charge density greater than 4 meq/g, iii) propanediol, and iv) at least one oxyalkylenated glycerol ester. The composition is silicone free, and at least capable of delivering conditioning effects like smoothness, suppleness and wet combing on a par with silicone-containing ones but without greasiness or stickiness.
