Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to conditional measurement reporting. A terminal device receives, from a network device, a first message comprising one or more conditions indicative of relative levels of one or more measurements performed by the terminal device. Based on determining that at least one of the one or more conditions of the relative levels is met, the terminal device reports the one or more measurements through transmitting a second message to the network device. In this way, unnecessary signaling and power consumption at the terminal device side may be avoided, thereby saving energy.
