2. FIELD OF INVENTION:

The present invention relates generally to improved Prophylactic device used for both birth control and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS, and more particularly to an improved male CONDOM with a modified shape for enhanced tactile stimulation.

3. BACK GROUND:

Condom is worn by male, as the physical barrier between male and female sexual organs used during sexual intercourse to protect from unwanted pregnancies and transfer of sexually transmitted infections including HIV/AIDS.

Condoms are made with symmetric tubular bodies of elastomeric material having a closed end and an open end. Open end have an integral bead [rolled ring] and the closed end have a nipple like portion. The integral bead helps to hold the condom on the erect penis during coitus. The nipple like portion at the closed end collects the semen of ejaculation or male bodily fluids. Each condom is rolled, packed with lubricant in individual packet and distributed for use. Many countries established the standards for Male latex condoms to ensure quality and other parameters.

Outbreak of AIDS has forced humans to opt for protected sexual acts. Fortunately, male condoms are accepted as proven technology for their use as form of birth control device and protection from sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS. Presently, many countries across the globe are promoting the use of condoms as a major tool for prevention of spread of HIV/AIDS.

Due to limitations in latex-dipping techniques, only symmetric-shaped condoms that could meet international standards for quality are popularly produced and/or distributed in almost every country. Unfortunately, these symmetric shaped condoms have failed to address the problem of diminishing pleasurable sensations during coitus. Couples not willing to compromise the sexual pleasure often found reluctant to use condoms as form of protection. Many attempts are made to design and produce next generation male condoms that are capable of retaining and/or enhancing the pleasurable sensations during coitus.

Condoms are presently made in different thicknesses, materials, physical dimensions, colors, textures and shapes. Though all these varieties of condoms are available presently, they are not widely popular, either due their high cost or in-adequacy.

PRIOR ART:

The US Patent Nos. 5,027,831 and 5,082,004 discloses the arrangement of pouches unlike the symmetric condom. Inventor claims that these additional pouches made with the thin membrane materials of the condom that move back & forth on the underside region of the glans penis and stimulates glans penis during coitus. However, the arrangement of pouches is meant only to stimulate glans penis of male.

The US Patents Nos. 5,836,308 & 6,000,398 discloses spring action male condom. Inventor claims that the features of the condom will produce spring action independently of the user action.

Accordingly, it would be advantages to be able to provide a male condom that provides stimulation to the sexual organs of both the partners and promote pleasurable sensations during coitus.

OBJECT OF INVENTION;

The main object of this improved male condom is to:

• Provide protection against spread of Sexually transmitted diseases [STDs] and HIV/AIDS.

• Stimulate pleasurable sensations of the partners during coitus.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION:

The present invention concerns an improved male condom.

In accordance with the invention, there is provided a male condom made out of elastomeric materials that includes an open end with an integral bead, a closed end and with a nipple like projection and a tubular body extending longitudinally between the open end and the closed end to define a chamber. The tubular body has a wall with an interior surface and exterior surface. The tubular body has four convolutions near the closed end. The convolutions are arranged in two rows perpendicular to the tubular body. Each row has two convolutions placed opposite to each other. More precisely, such two rows are axially arranged to form 90 degrees angle when seen from the top or bottom view. As per the present invention, when this condom is loaded on the erect penis of the user, these four convolutions forms multiple folds due to the additional area of film or sheath, at the respective positions of the convolutions, of different dimensions at the outer surface. Set of multiple folds formed in the first row near the closed end of the tubular pouch helps to provide more room for the glans penis and also help to stimulate glans penis during coitus. The second set of multiple folds formed in the second row adjacent to the first row helps to stimulate G-spot of female and also helps to stimulate 'labium minus' during coitus.

In accordance to another aspect of the invention, center line of convolutions Cl, C2 of row 1 and C3, C4 of row 2 are almost maintained apart from each other with the distance L5.

In accordance to another aspect of the invention, all the convolutions Cl, C2, C3 and C4 cover almost same distance diametrically to the maximum of L6 from the pouch diameter.

In accordance to another aspect of the invention, the convolutions Cl, C2, C3 and C4 together cover length L2 of the condom. L2 is the total length. L3 is the straight tubular portion of the condom without any modifications.

In accordance to another aspect of the invention, the improved condom is made with thickness Tl, which is more than the regular male latex condom. Thickness Tl of the condom in different areas are made with the variation of maximum 100%, due to manufacturing limitations.
