Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a configuration method and device. The method comprises: a first central unit sends a first message to a target distributed unit, the first message comprising first configuration information for configuring at least one functional module in the target distributed unit, so that the target distributed unit establishes a bearer of a terminal device on the at least one functional module; the first central unit sends a second message to the terminal device, the second message comprising second configuration information for configuring at least one functional module of the terminal device, so that the terminal device establishes, reestablishes, or increases bearers of the target distributed unit on the at least one functional module. The present application can enable a terminal device to perform increase or switching between different distributed units of a same central unit or different distributed units of different central units, so that a UE can perform communication with a distributed unit having better channel quality.
