Title:
CONJUGATED DIENE POLYMER MANUFACTURING METHOD, POLYBUTADIENE, AND RUBBER COMPOSITION UTILIZING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/071037
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a conjugated diene polymer with a very low solution viscosity, improved workability, a high degree of branching, and a high cis-1,4 structure content, which utilizes a catalyst containing an yttrium compound. Also provided is a rubber composition with excellent stiffener dispersibility which utilizes said polymer. The conjugated diene polymer manufacturing method is characterized in that a conjugated diene is polymerized at 50-120°C in the presence of a catalyst made of (A) an yttrium compound, (B) an ionic compound comprising a non-coordinating anion and a cation, and (C) an organic aluminum compound. (1) The ratio (Tcp/ML1+4) between 5 wt% toluene solution viscosity (Tcp) measured at 25°C and Mooney viscosity (ML1+4) at 100°C is 0.1-1.2. (2) The cis-1,4 structure content is 80% or greater, and the 1,2 structure content is less than 5%.
