Abstract:
This connecting rod module 1 is provided with: a sintered metal connecting rod 10 provided with a large end part 11, a small end part 12, and a stem part 13 which couples the large end part and the small end part; and bearing raceway rings (outer rings 21, 31) which are press fitted into a through hole 11a in the large end part 11 and a through hole 12a in the small end part 12. The Young's modulus of the connecting rod 10 is at least 120 GPa, but not more than 180 GPa. The Young's modulus of each of the outer rings 21, 31 is greater than 180 GPa, but not more than 240 GPa. When T represents the thickness of each of the outer rings 21, 31 in the radial direction, D represents the internal diameter dimension of each of the through holes 11a, 12a, and I represents the interference between the outer rings 21, 31 and the circumferential walls of the through holes 11a, 12a, T=(0.05 to 0.15)×D and I=(0.0004 to 0.004)×D are satisfied.
