Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a connection device that can reliably connect an information transmission cable by preventing jamming at the connection device; and an imaging device provided with the connection device. [Solution] In one example of the connection device 200, an adapter affixing member 1603 has a guide member 50 therewithin, and a helical guide copying surface (55) formed in one direction is provided to the guide member 50 in order to perform an action of guiding a protruding section 550 of a connector affixing member 1405 by rotating around the central axis CL of a first optical fiber cable FC1 as a first information transmission cable and a second optical fiber cable FC2 as a second information transmission cable when inserting the connector affixing member 1405 into the guide member 50.
