Abstract:
Provided is a connection device that, in order to enable reduction in occurrence of tamper and leak of data held by a host computer due to a connection of a device that is not allowed to be connected to the host computer, connects a host device and a target device, that is, a device to be connected to the host device, comprises: a reading unit that reads out, from the target device, device information that can identify the device; and a connecting unit that connects the target device and the host device when the device information read out from the target device exists on a whitelist which is a list of the device information on devices that can be connected to the host device.
