Abstract:
A connection device (1) is provided with: a case (2); a terminal section (3); an elastic member (4); and an operating section (5). The terminal section (3) is electrically conductive and fixed to the case (2). The elastic member (4) is attached to the case (2). The elastic member (4) presses an electric wire (91) onto the terminal section (3) and sandwiches the electric wire (91) with the terminal section (3) by means of recovery force. The operating section (5) contacts the elastic member (4), and maintains the elastic member (4) in a non-wire-connected state in which the elastic member (4) is warped more than in a wire-connected state in which the electric wire (91) is sandwiched. In the connection device (1), when the electric wire (91) is inserted between the terminal section (3) and the elastic member (4) in the non-wire-connected state, force is indirectly transmitted from the electric wire (91) to the operating section (5), whereby the operating section (5) is moved and the elastic member (4) transitions from the non-wire-connected state to the wire-connected state. In this way, the electric wire (91) can be connected to the connection device (1) easily.
