Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a connection establishment method and a terminal, the method comprising: a first terminal determines a communication object, broadcasts a connection establishment request message, and determines that a connection to the communication object is successfully established if an acknowledgment response sent by a second terminal is received. Since a communication object identifier in the connection establishment request message may indicate at least one second terminal, the first terminal, if needing to initiate a unicast, may indicate a terminal in the communication object identifier; if the first terminal needs to initiate a multicast, the first terminal may indicate a communication group to be joined by the terminal in the communication object identifier, thereby solving the technical problem in existing technology of not being able to establish a unicast or multicast between terminals in an LTE V2X system.
