Abstract:

This connection mechanism (1) is provided with cables (21a, 21b), a joint piece (3), and a case (4) which receives the joint piece (3). The joint piece (3) is provided with upper openings (32), lower openings (34) which connect to the upper openings (32) and which are formed extending in the direction of sliding of the joint piece (3), and engagement sections (31) with which cable ends (22a, 22b) engage. The case (4) has a bottom surface (41) which prevents the cable ends (22a, 22b) from extending and moving through the lower openings (34) when the cable ends (22a, 22b) are inserted from the upper openings (32) of the joint piece (3). The connection mechanism (1) is characterized in that the slide surface (33) of the joint piece (3) and the bottom surface (41) of the case (4) are slidable relative to each other when the cables (21a, 21b) are operated, and consequently, although the openings are formed in the bottom surface of the joint piece, the cables can be easily mounted to the joint piece.
