Abstract:
Disclosed are a connection method and connection apparatus of an electronic device, the electronic device, a medium, and a system. The connection method comprises the following steps: setting a communication connection mode to be a Wi-Fi direct mode; creating a Wi-Fi direct group and being compatible with a SoftAP of the Wi-Fi direct group; broadcasting connection information; receiving a communication connection request initiated by the electronic device on the basis of the connection information; and establishing a communication connection with the electronic device. According to the present invention, in the case that a single-mode vehicle-mounted system does not need to be modified into a dual-mode vehicle-mounted system, and it is ensured that no human intervention is required and there is no need to switch between a hotspot mode and a Wi-Fi mode back and forth, electronic devices from different platforms can be connected to the vehicle-mounted system, the use cost of the vehicle-mounted system is reduced, and the performance of the vehicle-mounted system itself would not be affected; moreover, the function of surfing the Internet by a user by means of the electronic device would likewise not be affected, and the user experience is greatly improved.
