Abstract:

A liquid crystal display apparatus comprises a liquid crystal display panel (1) equipped with one or more electrode terminals (R₁−R_n) in a non−display region (3) and a pair of reference markers (N1), a flexible wiring board (FPC1) equipped with alignment markers (M2) matching with the reference markers, and a printed board (PCB1) having one or more electrode terminals (T₁−T_n). The reference markers are located inside the alignment markers, so that the electrode terminals of the liquid crystal display panel and the electrode terminals of the printed board are interconnected via the wirings (P₁−P_n) of the flexible wiring board. The alignment marker is a slot having the major axis at least in one direction.
