Abstract:
A connection terminal (1) comprises a wire connection part (3) to which a wire is electrically connected by ultrasonic bonding, and an electrical connection part (5) provided integrally with the wire connection part (3) and electrically connected to a mating terminal. The electrical connection part (5) has a box part (13) bent at a plurality of bent parts (27) into a tube form into which a mating terminal can be inserted, and a spring part (15) disposed so as to be elastically deformable inside the box part (13) and brought into contact with the mating terminal. The box part (13) is provided with avoiding recesses (35) that are recessed so that the thickness is less than other portions of the box part (13) and that avoid interference with the spring part (15), and the avoiding recesses (35) are located on the inner side of the box part (13) from inner end parts (49) positioned on the innermost side of the box part (13).
