Abstract:
A connection terminal (1) comprises an electric cable connecting portion (3) to which an electric cable is electrically connected by ultrasonic bonding, and an electric connecting portion (5) which is provided integrally with the electric cable connecting portion (3) and which is electrically connected to a counterpart terminal, wherein: the electric connecting portion (5) includes a box portion (13) which is formed in a tubular shape by being bent at a plurality of bent portions (27), and into which the counterpart terminal can be inserted; each of the plurality of bent portions (27) is provided with a thinned portion (45) that is thinner than other parts of the box portion (13); and a plurality of the thinned portions (45) are arranged along the bent portion (27) in at least one of the plurality of bent portions (27).
