Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a connector, a communication line, an electronic device, and an optical transmission system that have good optical transmission characteristics even in a highly humid environment. [Solution] This connector is provided with an optical component and a biasing mechanism. The optical component has a body that supports an optical transmission path having a principal surface, a lens that is molded integrally with the body and disposed on the principal surface, and a projected part that is molded integrally with the body and provided so as to surround the lens. The biasing mechanism biases the optical component in a direction which is perpendicular to the principal surface and in which the projected part projects from the principal surface.
