Abstract:
A connector device for a card enabling the insertion, therein, of the card (5) having step parts (5a) formed at both upper surface side edges thereof and an adapter device for card. The connector device comprises a housing (4) having a synthetic resin base member (2) supporting a contact (1) connectable to an external connection part (10) on the lower surface of the card (5) and a sheet metal cover member (3) formed integrally with the base member (2). Upper side restricting parts (3A) restricting the upward movement of the card (5) in inserting the card in contact with the upper surfaces of the step parts (5a) are formed on the cover member (3), and a lower side restricting part (2A) restricting the downward movement of the card (5) in inserting the card in contact with the lower surface of the card (5) is formed on the base member (2).
