Abstract:
A lamp connector capable of confirming the state of connection between an external
electrode provided on the outer peripheral surface of an end of a tubular lamp
and a terminal fitting on which the external terminal is mounted. An external
electrode (7a) is provided on the outer peripheral surface of an end of a tubular
lamp (7) and is mounted on a connector (12). The connector (12) has a terminal
fitting (15). The terminal fitting (15) is constructed from two terminal members
(15a, 15b) individually in contact with the external electrode (7a) and insulated
from each other. Electric conduction between the external electrode (7a) and
the terminal fitting (15) can be simply checked only by a tester (16). Imperfect
installation of the external electrode on the connector can be easily found and
corrected.
