Abstract:

A connector for memory card (11), comprising a housing (12), a plate (14), a guide plate (16), a lock mechanism (18), and a connector pin holding part (20), wherein, when a memory card (24) is further moved from a full lock position to the maximum pressed-in position by pressing the card in an inserting direction (Ya direction), movable sections (42B) provided on a slider (54) come in contact with fixed sections (42A) provided on the connector pin holding part (20), and an eject operation detection switch (42) is turned on so as to output an eject operation detection signal, whereby a control circuit can recognize that the eject operation of the memory card (24) was performed.
