Abstract:
A connector 10 according to the present disclosure fits with a connection object 60, the connector 10 comprising: a housing 20; a plurality of contacts 30 that have a mounting portion 33 that is mounted so as to penetrate the housing 20 in a fitting direction in which the connector 10 and the connection object 60 fit with each other, a contact portion 35 that makes contact with the connection object 60, and a close-fit portion 34 that is positioned between the mounting portion 33 and the contact portion 35; a frame-shaped metal member 40 that is mounted to the housing 20 on one side in the fitting direction where the connection object is positioned, the metal member surrounding the periphery of the plurality of contacts 30; and a sealing member 50 that is filled inside the frame of the metal member 40 on the one side relative to the housing 20, the sealing member closely fitting the metal member 40 and the close-fit portion 34.
