This connector 12 with a cable is provided with: a cable 10 which comprises an electrical wire 13, a sheath 15 and a braided member 14 interposed between the electrical wire 13 and the sheath 15, the braided member 14 being woven from conductive wire and having a folded-back part 18 formed by folding back towards the sheath 15 the part of the braided member 14 that is exposed from the end of the sheath 16; a metal sleeve 19 which, in the radial direction of the cable 10, is inside of the folded-back part 18 and is fit over the outer surface of the sheath; a metal shield member 40 which has a barrel 30 which, in a state crimped on the outer surface of the folded-back part 18, holds the folded-back part 18 between said barrel 30 and the sleeve 19; and a housing 41 which is covered by the shield member 40, wherein, in a position of the barrel 30 behind the back end of the sleeve 19 in the axial direction of the cable 10, a barrel-side protrusion 32 is formed that protrudes inwards in the radial direction of the cable 10, and on the back end of the sleeve 19, a sleeve-side protrusion 20 is formed which protrudes outwards in the radial direction of the cable 10.
