Abstract:
A connector (11) is provided with a pair of housings which are fitted to each other by inserting an insertion section (19) of one housing (12) of the pair of housings into a cylinder section (36) of the other housing (13). The outer peripheral surface of the insertion section (19) of said one housing (12) has provided thereon a plurality of circumferentially distributed outer ribs (27, 30) extending rearward from the front end of the insertion section (19) and protruding from the outer peripheral surface. The inner peripheral surface of the cylinder section (36) of the other housing (13) has provided thereon a plurality of circumferentially distributed inner ribs (44, 46) extending rearward from the front end of the cylinder section (36) and protruding from the inner peripheral surface. The outer ribs (27, 30) and the inner ribs (44, 46) are provided circumferentially offset from each other.
