Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a connector which, regardless of the thickness of a connection section which breaks through a film which seals a port section, can easily and reliably break through the film and can be reliably inserted into a container to provide communication. [Solution] This connector 30 is provided with: a base section 33 rotated about an axis L1 and mounted to the port section 12 of a container 10; a first connection section 31 provided to one end side of the base section 33 and breaking through a film 16 which seals the port section 12, thereby being inserted into the container 10; and a second connection section 32 which is provided to the other end side of the base section 33 and to which another device 20 is connected. When the first connection section 31 is inserted into the container 10 and the other device 20 is connected to the second connection section 32, the connector 30 provides communication between the container 10 and the other device 20 so that a material contained in the container 10 or the other device 20 can flow through the first connection section 31 and the second connection section 32. The connector 30 is configured so that the first connection section 31 is provided with a tube section 35, the front end 35a of the tube section 35 has a stepped piercing section 36 having a pointed tip 36a, and the piercing section 36 is pierced and rotated with the base section 33 to cut the film 16, thereby forming an opening and inserting the tube section 35 into the opening.
