Abstract:
The present invention achieves a reduction in height. This connector (F) comprises a female terminal metal fitting (30) and a housing (10), wherein: the female terminal metal fitting (30) has a tab insertion part (35) into which a tab (53) of a male terminal metal fitting (52) is inserted and a first elastic contact piece (37) which is exposed to an outer surface of the tab insertion part (35) and comes in elastic contact with the tab (53); the housing (10) has a terminal accommodation chamber (13) accommodating the tab insertion part (35); and a first flexure-allowing space (22) for allowing elastic displacement of the first elastic contact piece (37) is formed within the thickness range of an upper wall part (16) which partitions the terminal accommodation chamber (13) of the housing (10).
