Abstract:
A connector (1) comprising: a housing (3) that is disposed in a housing member and houses a terminal (5) therein; a flange (9) that protrudes outwardly from the outer surface of the housing (3) and is disposed inside the housing member; and a first fitting portion (43) that extends downwardly from the flange (9) inside the housing member and has a cylindrical first wall (47) that has the terminal (5) disposed therein. The first fitting portion (43) is provided with a fitting surface (49) against which the end face of a mating connector abuts when the mating connector is fitted within the first wall portion (47), and the fitting surface (49) is disposed above the bottom surface (15) of the flange (9).
