Abstract:
Provided is a connector capable of preventing intrusion of a foreign object into the rear side of a hood part and ensuring strength on the opening side of the hood part. A connector (10) comprises a hood part (16) in which a counterpart-side connector (P) can be fitted. The opening side of the hood part (16) is defined as the front side and the side opposite to the opening side is defined as the rear side. The hood part (16) has a flange (16A) formed in a flange shape at the outer circumference of the end edge on the front side, a second flange (16B) disposed so as to face the flange (16A) from the rear side, and a groove (16C) which is formed between the second flange (16B) and the flange (16A) and in which a plate-like case (80) fits.
