The invention relates to the field of constructing wooden buildings from standardized prefabricated parts and to private residential housing. [E04B1/00, E04B2/02, E04B2/70]. The technical result of the invention, consisting in a method of constructing wooden walls which provides a significant increase in the strength of the finished building, is achieved through the design of a standardized beam which can be used to form inner and outer walls that can be connected by inner struts. The claimed technical result is also achieved in that the vertical and horizontal construction of double beam walls is carried out so that there is an offset equivalent to half of the length of a standardized construction beam both between the beams of the outer wall and the inner wall in a horizontal direction and between an upper and a lower standardized construction beam installed one above the other in the same wall, wherein the beams are subsequently fastened by an inner strut, thus providing for the mechanical strength of a double beam building, fast construction, excellent thermal insulation, and the possibility of creating buildings with different structures, layouts and purposes from the same standardized parts.
