Abstract:
Provided is construction elevator with an extendable hoisting height for which twisting of a rope can be eliminated. This construction elevator with an extendable hoisting height comprises: a machine room unit (3) that can move vertically in a hoistway and is equipped with a hoisting machine (15); a first elevating body (1) that can move vertically in the hoistway and that can support a load with the machine room unit (3); and a second elevating body (2) that can move vertically in the hoistway and that can support a load at the lower part of the hoistway. Rope (5) fed out from a rope drum (6) mounted in the machine room unit (3) is wound around the suspension wheel of the first elevating body (1) and then wound around the sheave (4) of the hoisting machine (15). Thereafter, the rope is wound around the suspension wheel of the second elevating body (2) and then connected to the machine room unit (3).
