Abstract:
Provided is a technology for allowing information pertaining to a work region and acquired by one work machine to be used by another work machine working in the same work region. A shovel 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: a controller 30 that acquires information pertaining to a work region surrounding the shovel 100 (host machine); and a communication apparatus 90 that transmits the information acquired by the controller 30 to another shovel 100 around said shovel 100. In addition, a shovel assistance system SYS according to another embodiment of the present disclosure includes a plurality of shovels 100 located inside a predetermined work region, the plurality of shovels 100 each being provided with: a controller 30 that acquires information pertaining to the work region; and a communication apparatus 90 that transmits the information acquired by the controller 30 to another shovel 100.
