Abstract:
The present invention is provided with a control device (34) that drives/controls an engine (10) on the basis of signals from a rotational frequency setting device (32), a rotation detector (31), and a temperature state detector (30). The control device (34) has: a startup temperature determination processing means that determines whether or not the temperature (T) at the time of startup of the engine (10) has decreased to a predetermined temperature (Tw1); and a startup control processing means that, when it is determined by the startup temperature determination processing means that the temperature (T) is at or below the predetermined temperature (Tw1), starts up and controls the engine (10) in accordance with the set value of a target rotational frequency (Nset) resulting from the rotational frequency setting device (32). The startup control processing means suppresses the generation of cavitation by means of halting engine startup (10) in the range of the temperature (T) being no greater than the predetermined temperature (Tw1) and the target rotational frequency (Nset) of the engine (10) being higher than a predetermined threshold (Nca).
