Abstract:
Provided is a construction vehicle that is able to produce the maximum vehicle speed specification value set in advance on a per-undercarriage basis, despite deterioration over time of the instruments constituting an HST-type drive-powering system thereof　Provided is a wheel loader 1 equipped with an HST-type drive-powering system, wherein if a detected pressure value P detected by a pressure sensor 71 that detects load pressure on an HST motor 42 is at or below a switching pressure value Ps that corresponds to a switching point between a maximum displacement volume qmax and a minimum displacement volume qmin in the HST motor 42, and if a detected vehicle speed value V detected by a vehicle speed sensor 72 is below an upper-limit vehicle-speed specification value Vmaxs that is a given upper-limit vehicle speed for the undercarriage driving on level terrain, then a controller 5 for controlling the HST motor 42 restricts the minimum displacement volume qmin of the HST motor 42 to a first minimum displacement volume value qmin1 that is smaller than a minimum displacement-volume specification value qmins that is the value of the minimum displacement volume of the HST motor 42 associated with the upper-limit vehicle-speed specification value Vmaxs.
