Abstract:

Provided is a consumer goods procurement assisting system with which it is possible to perform more suitable commodity proposition, etc. A consumer goods procurement assisting system having an information processing server for communicating with a customer terminal and managing a captured image of a commodity (consumer goods) imaged by the customer terminal, wherein the consumer goods procurement assisting system is characterized in that the information processing server performs a process for recognizing a commodity (consumer goods) on the basis of the captured image of the commodity (consumer goods) imaged by the customer terminal, causes a candidate commodity extracted as the result of the recognition process to be displayed on the customer terminal, and causes the customer to select an actually purchased commodity from the candidate commodities, thereby determining an unpurchased commodity.
