Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a contact device having an improved movable support holder, the contact device comprising: a pair of fixed contacts for applying power; a movable contact bar in the form of a movable bar plate so as to be in contact with a pair of fixed contacts; a movable support yoke which is fixed to the lower portion of the movable contact bar and thereby fastened to the movable contact bar so as to move in conjunction with same; a contact pressure spring which is disposed below the movable contact bar and configured to provide contact pressure to the movable contact bar; and a shaft block that operates in conjunction with a movable iron core operated by the magnetomotive force generated from an excitation coil, and accommodates the contact pressure spring and the movable contact bar and limits the separation and operating distances thereof, wherein the movable yoke and the movable support holder are provided with a pair of yokes by an attractive force that suppresses an electron repulsion force generated against the current flowing in a pair of contact surfaces from a short-circuit current and an overcurrent flowing in the movable contact bar.
