Abstract:
A manufacturing method of manufacturing a contact lens having a photonic crystal structure and a contact lens having a photonic crystal structure and manufactured by the manufacturing method. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: (1) providing a contact lens mold having a photonic crystal structure; (2) filling the contact lens mold having the photonic crystal structure with a contact lens prepolymer solution or a mixed solution including the contact lens prepolymer solution and a therapeutic agent, and curing the same to obtain a primary contact lens having the photonic crystal structure; and (3) hydrating the obtained primary contact lens to obtain the contact lens having the photonic crystal structure. The manufacturing method introduces a dual photon technology to manufacture the contact lens mold having the photonic crystal structure, and the manufacture adopting the mold is low in cost and high in production, resulting in structural color contact lenses having favorable safety and reliability.
