Abstract:
Provided are a contact member having high reliability and durability even in long-term use and also having high conductivity, and a contact rubber switch provided with the contact member. A contact member 1, which is to be in conductive contact with electrodes C of a circuit board P, is provided with: a metal plate 12 having on the surface thereof a plurality of island-shaped protruding sections 16, concave sections 17 surrounding the protruding sections 16, and inclined surfaces 17c formed from the outer peripheral edges of the protruding sections 16 to the bottom surfaces of the concave sections; and a conductive coating film 13 covering the surface of the metal plate 12.
