Abstract:
The contact member 1 according to the present invention is a contact member used for a contact of a switch and is provided with: a conducting portion 2 having a surface 2X that makes contact with a fixed contact and comprising a metal mesh; and a holding portion 4 disposed in the outer peripheral portion 2c of the conducting portion 2 and constraining the metal mesh. According to the present invention, a contact member can be provided which can be manufactured by a manufacturing method relatively facilitating mass production and in which a foreign object such as a metal piece and the like hardly occurs.
