Abstract:
According to the present invention, a control device: causes a main shaft to rotate through a prescribed angle in a first direction from an initial rotational position, and acquires a first detected value relating to control of a motor at a plurality of rotational positions (S12); causes the main shaft to rotate through the prescribed angle in a second direction, which is the opposite direction to the first direction, to return the rotational position of the main shaft to the initial rotational position (S14); causes the main shaft to rotate in the first direction from the initial rotational position, to cause a tool to come into contact with a workpiece at a timing at which the angle through which the main shaft has rotated from the initial rotational position does not exceed the prescribed angle, and acquires a second detected value relating to control of the motor at a plurality of rotational positions (S16); derives a difference value between the second detected value and the first detected value acquired at the same rotational position (S18); and detects a position of contact between the tool and the workpiece on the basis of a variation in the difference value derived at a plurality of rotational positions (S20).
