Abstract:
A contact tip to workpiece distance (CTWD) control method, comprising: before welding is started, according to a received welding energy parameter and preset association relationships, determining and indicating a CTWD to be recommended corresponding to the welding energy parameter; determining a target CTWD according to the CTWD to be recommended; and generating a position instruction according to the target CTWD, and controlling the moving position of an electrode wire according to the position instruction, so that the distance between a contact tip and a workpiece is matched with the target CTWD. The CTWD control method can better guarantee the stability of the welding process and the welding seam forming quality, improve the welding quality, and achieve automatic presetting of CTWDs by means of automatic position control of CTWDs. Also provided are a CTWD control apparatus (40), a CTWD control device (50), and a storage medium.
