Abstract:
A contact-type image sensor unit is provided with a light source (10) for illuminating an original, a rod-shaped light guiding body (11) for guiding light from the light source (10) to the original, an imaging element (12) for imaging reflected light from the original on a photoelectric conversion element, a sensor substrate (14) on which the photoelectric conversion element is mounted, a frame (15) on which the members are attached and which comprises a positioning unit (200) for attaching the light guiding body (11), and a support member (16) which removably supports the light guiding body (11) and is removably attached to the positioning unit (200). Because the light guiding body (11) can be attached to the frame (15) without using an adhesive, deformation of the light guiding body (11), warpage of the contact-type image sensor unit, etc., can be prevented.
