Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present application are a container-based image updating and distribution method, and an apparatus. A technical solution provided by an embodiment of the present application utilizes a distribution end-hosting platform-client end deployment means to implement rapid image distribution and deployment, and determines whether to update information on a hosting platform by means of comparing local image information of the distribution end and network image information of the hosting platform, and thereby completing image updating at the client end. The present invention implements distribution end to client end container image synchronization assisted by public hosting platforms and without needing to apply for a public domain name, and ensures complete service security by utilizing multiple public image storage means as well as encryption and decryption on image metadata information.
