Provided is a container device capable of cooling an electric power device contained therein.　A container device 1 comprises a housing 10, and a container unit that is provided inside the housing 10 to contain a contained item in a removable manner. The container unit includes an opening for entering and removing the contained item, a bottom portion provided in a position opposite the opening, and a tube portion that is continuous with the bottom portion and surrounds the periphery of the contained item contained in the container unit. When, on one and the same plane orthogonal to a direction in which the contained item is removed from and entered into the container unit, a first direction through a fourth direction are defined in sequence in directions differing from each other by 90 degrees, the container unit includes a first outer surface facing the first direction and a second outer surface facing the second direction of the tube portion, as well as a first member 32a having at least a part of the bottom portion, a third outer surface facing the third direction and a fourth outer surface facing the fourth direction of the tube portion, and a second member 32b having at least a part of the bottom portion.
