Abstract:
A container fixing method capable of reducing a time for container fixing operation and the fatigue of a worker, comprising the steps of stacking a plurality of containers (C¿1?) to (C¿4?) across lashing bridges (3) installed on a deck (2), holding the containers generally horizontally by applying fixing devices (10) across the corner fittings (A) at both end surface lower parts of the container (C¿2?) having a lower surface disposed generally at the same level as the upper surface of the lashing bridges (3) and the upper part of the lashing bridges (3), and fixing the corner fittings (A) generally horizontally by tightening the fixing devices (10) to increase the supporting rigidity of the corner (C¿2?), whereby the fixing operation for the uppermost container (C¿4?) of the plurality of containers stacked on the container (C¿2?) can be eliminated.
