Abstract:
Provided is a container which yields the characteristics of wood, which is easily handled, and which can prevent the lingering scent of wood. A container (10) comprises an inner container (11) made from glass, earthenware, or porcelain, and an outer container (12) made from wood material and placed so as to cover the outer side of the inner container (11). A wooden outward appearance can thereby be achieved, and the scent of wood can be prevented from lingering in food and drink. Due to wood being highly heat-insulative, the container can be safely held even if hot food or drink is put in, and due to high temperature retention, hot food and drink or cold food and drink can be kept hot or cold for a long period of time.
