Abstract:

Provided is a method for displaying image contents having a story such as comics on a terminal having only a small display. The contents displaying method can display the contents images sequentially of the story by a simple method without burdening a user. An existing comic book is converted by a scanner into image data thereby to create a file having electronic comic contents including a frame displaying sequence containing the display magnification and the display order of each frame on a display (23) of a mobile telephone terminal (20). The file of the electronic comic contents is distributed for each page from a contents delivery server (10) to the mobile telephone terminal (20). In the display (23), the image data is reduced at first so that the whole page is displayed. After this, the individual frames are sequentially displayed at such predetermined magnifications that they can be confined just in the mobile screen area. The transfers between the individual frames are performed continuously and smoothly.
