Abstract:

A continuous heating furnace (200) equipped with: a furnace main body (212); a transport unit (210) that transports objects (W) to be fired in the furnace main body; multiple heating units, which have a first radiation surface (120a) that transfers radiant heat to the objects to be fired which are being heated by combustion and transported by the transport unit, and are arranged within the furnace main body side by side in the transport direction of the objects to be fired; and cooling/preheating units (214), which have a second radiation surface (214a) that receives radiant heat from the objects to be fired when opposing the objects to be fired which are transported by the transport unit, and have a gas flow path which preheats a gas used in the combustion in the heating units by means of the heat from the second radiation surfaces. By means of this continuous heating furnace it is possible to provide both adequate cooling performance and high heat efficiency when the objects to be fired are heated and cooled.
