Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device capable of changing an opening time of a valve used in an internal combustion engine into a continuous value. A continuous variable valve duration device according to the present invention rotates a cam shaft through a planetary gear shaft which rotates inside the cam shaft, while moving the planetary gear shaft in the circumferential direction from the center of the cam shaft, so as to rotate the cam shaft at different speeds according to sections to control the valve duration. The continuous variable valve duration device according to the present invention will contribute to performance of an automobile, fuel reduction, environmental pollutant discharge reduction, etc.
