The present invention relates to a continuously variable transmission. The continuously variable transmission according to the present invention comprises: a driving pulley comprising a fixed pulley fixed in the axial direction thereof and a movable pulley that can move in the axial direction thereof; a following pulley connected to the driving pulley by a belt so as to receive rotational power from the driving pulley and to rotate thereby; and a transmission controller for changing the position of the movable pulley of the driving pulley. The transmission controller comprises: a worm gear disposed in parallel with the axial direction of the driving pulley and rotated by a motor; a movable member mounted on a peripheral surface of the worm gear so as to move along the peripheral surface of the worm gear by means of rotation of the worm gear; and a lever having one end connected to the movable member and the other end connected to the movable pulley of the driving pulley, the lever moving the movable pulley of the driving pulley in the opposite direction to the direction of movement of the movable member with reference to a reference point, the position of which is fixed between the one end and the other end.
