Abstract:
A continuously variable transmission is disclosed. It is adapted to be moved by a prime mover (2) and includes a reciprocating device (3,4,5,6,7,8), an output shaft (13), and means (10,11,12) to connect the output shaft and reciprocating device to enable the output shaft to be rotated by the reciprocating device. Also included is overrun protection for the transmission.
