A control apparatus (2) controls an array-type sensor (1) provided with: an array part (3) in which unit cells (13) each having a sensor element (14) and a selection transistor (15) are arranged two-dimensionally; a plurality of first wiring lines (11); and a plurality of second wiring lines (12). The control apparatus (2) is provided with: a first selector/driver (16) that selects and drives one of the plurality of first wiring lines (11); a second selector/driver (17) that selects and drives at least one of the plurality of second wiring lines (12); a read/calculation circuit (18) that reads the outputs of the unit cells (13) and performs correction calculation on the outputs; and a nonvolatile storage device (19) that stores reference data. In a calibration mode, the sensor outputs of the unit cells (13) with respect to two or more reference inputs are stored as reference data in the nonvolatile storage device (19). In a measurement mode, correction calculation is performed on the sensor outputs of the unit cells (13) by using the stored reference data, and the resultants are outputted.
